Metzeler Mousse and Gel Inner Liners for Dirt and Adventure Riding

Metzeler mousse has been developed to replace the inner tubes in off-road tyres. “Solid” rubber inner tubes for off-road competition for use in Metzeler tyres. Chosen by World Enduro Championship riders for use in the most extreme conditions to eliminate punctures. Available in sizes to suit Enduro, MX and Trail bikes. 

When fitted, a Metzeler mousse of the corresponding size provides an equivalent inflation pressure of 0.7bar +/-0.1. This means that particular attention has to be given to the tuning of the suspension system. Metzeler mousses are marked NHS meaning they must not be used on public roads.

When fitting a mousse, the mounting lubricant gel must be spread on the whole inside of the tyre cover, avoiding the beads.
